Strong emotions, virtuoso performances, and genuine inspiration marked the concert "Music of All Times," which took place on May 13 at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin.”
Under the baton of Maestro Petar Dimitrov, the evening began with the Piano Concerto in D minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Soloist Lora Dimitrova impressed with technical precision and strong emotional presence, transforming the classical piece into a living musical narrative.
Violinist Dorina Markov continued the program with a performance of Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D major – a work that demands a high degree of mastery. Markov offered a rich sound palette and musical depth that were highly appreciated by the audience.
The final piece – Adagio by Gustav Mahler – brought a sense of depth and reflection. The composer’s last completed work was performed under the skillful guidance of conductor Petar Dimitrov, who described the performance as music that carries deep emotional power and reflection. The hall remained silent after the final chords – a testament to the impact the music had on those present.
The concert, presented by Syphony – Vidin, reaffirmed the institution’s significant place in the cultural life of the city and once again demonstrated the power of live classical music to unite, inspire, and move.
