The temporary exhibition “Susie, the Granddaughter of House №4 and the Time of the Hidden Jewish Stars” was presented at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin.”
Until January 20, 2025, visitors had the opportunity to view this exhibition, which tells the story of a Jewish family in hiding in Berlin in 1942. Based on the book by Berlin writer and illustrator Birgitta Behr, the exhibition portrayed the story through the medium of a graphic novel.
Using both visual and literary storytelling, the exhibition explored themes such as persecution, hiding, identity, and acceptance within the historical context of the years 1933–1945. References to House №4, the school, and the surrounding environment enriched the narrative with real-life details and historical accuracy.
A short film was also included to enhance the visual content. Aimed at children and young people, the exhibition sought to raise awareness about anti-Semitism and discrimination.
The exhibition remained open to the public until January 20, 2025.
