The lightning saint
The hit documentary “The Lightning Saint” was presented in Vidin.
The host of the news program “Around the World and at Home” on Bulgarian National Television, Angel Bonchev, presented his documentary film “The Lightning Saint”, dedicated to Saint Ephraim Novi, to the Vidin audience.
The event took place on January 16 at 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin."
Christmas Workshop for Children AshiNor
On December 23, 2024, at 11:30 AM, the last AshiNor workshop of the year took place!
Together, we created beautiful Christmas cards filled with warmth and festive spirit. The workshop was a wonderful opportunity for inspiration and creativity, allowing everyone to craft something unique with their own hands.

Traditional Charity reading
The traditional Charity reading evening, organized by Interact Club Vidin, was held on November 7, 2024, (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m., at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”. This year's event was dedicated to an important cause – a project to create a robot to purify the waters of the Danube River. The evening combined the magic of literature and care for the environment, bringing together book lovers and people with a commitment to nature.

"The North remembers..." painting exhibition
The exhibition "The North Remembers..." by Vidin artist Daniela Petrova was opened on November 1, 2024. from 17:00 at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”. It lasted until November 7 and featured works inspired by Vidin's cultural heritage, including symbols such as the “Baba Vida” Fortress and the Synagogue. Next to Daniela Petrova stood the poetess Diana Sirakova, who presented poems from her new collection of poems "The wrong time" and the musician Dobromira Dimcheva, who contributed with musical performances.

The Architectural Treasures of Vidin: A Glimpse into the Past and Future in Partnership with the Municipality of Vidin
Vidin, located along the majestic Danube, is one of Bulgaria’s oldest and most significant cities, with a history spanning thousands of years. The city takes pride in its rich cultural heritage, embodied in unique architectural monuments that narrate its development and preserve memories of the region’s glorious past.
Dimitrovden in Cultural Center “Jules Pascin” : Chess and music in the festive program
On October 26, on the occasion of Dimitrovden - the city's holiday, Cultural Center “Jules Pascin” opened its doors with free entry for all visitors.
The main event of the day was the 24th traditional international chess tournament Naiden Voinov Memorial. Registration for the tournament began at 12:00 p.m. , after which chess players competed in the competition dedicated to the memory of the great master Nayden Voinov. The tournament, which is an annual tradition, attracted participants from different countries and was an exciting event for both the chess players and the audience.
“To Vidin with love” painting exhibition
On October 20 from 5:00 p.m., on the occasion of Dimitrovden - the holiday of the town Vidin, in the Cultural Center "Jules Paskin", the painting exhibition of Veselin Marinov Natsin, under the title "To Vidin with love", was solemnly opened. Each of his works was an exciting narrative conveyed through expressionism, realism and modernism. The artist skilfully interwoven these styles, creating rich thematic works - still lifes, landscapes, portraits and complex compositions.
Autumn workshop for children from 7 to 18 years old
On October 12 and October 19 at 10:30 AM, the Cultural Center„Jules Pascin” once again opened its doors to the magical workshops of AshiNor! Two days filled with creativity and imagination gave participants the opportunity to create handmade masterpieces inspired by fairy-tale themes.
The first workshop took place on October 12 at 10:30 a.m.and featured two exciting topics:
WAGNER AND WAGNERIANISM
An exciting musical evening was held on 09.10.2024. from 7:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”. Under the sounds of the Vidin Symphony, the attendees plunged into a world where every note resonated with the hall's magical acoustics, telling its own tale.
The evening was filled with musical magic that left unforgettable memories in the hearts of all present.
