Children exhibition “Homeland”

Children's exhibition "Homeland” opened on September 10, 2024. from 6:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”. As part of the event, landscapes created by 34 extremely talented children aged 4 to 16, graduates of the Nana ART studio, were presented. Their works, inspired by the beauty of the city and the homeland, were not just paintings, but stories told through colors and forms, revealing their unadulterated ability to capture and convey the spirit of nature and cultural heritage.

Fashion show “Eclecticism”

The fashion show “Eclectica” by young Vidin designer Ivanka Naydenova took place on July 24, 2024 (Wednesday) at 6:30 PM at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin."

The event was part of the thirteenth Danube Waves Arts Festival, organized by Vidin Municipality. The host of the evening was Vidin actor Ivaylo Petkov, while DJ Dextar from Sofia ensured a lively atmosphere for the attendees.

“Once upon a Time … Forgotten tales..”

July 1, 2024 (Monday) from 6:00 p.m. in the Cultural Center "Jules Paskin" the annual concert-performance of the School of Folk Singing at the Municipal Cultural Institute "Danube" "Once upon a time .... FORGOTTEN TALES ...."

The children presented several "forgotten" folk tales with lessons, some of which:

“Talent in colors and shades”

On June 27, 2024 (Thursday) at 5:00 PM, the grand opening of the exhibition “Talent in Colors and Dyes” by the students of Sofia University St. St. Cyril and Methodius in the village of Novo Selo took place at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin." The exhibition "Talent in Colors and Dyes" was organized with the assistance of the Vidin Municipality and brought together official guests, including the regional governor and representatives of the Regional Educational and Cultural Organization - Vidin.

"The Architectural heritage of Vidin and the region"

Cultural Center „Jules Pascin” hosted the exhibition of arch. Belin Mollov "The architectural heritage of Vidin and the region", opened on April 23, 2024. from 12:00 p.m. with the assistance of the Municipality of Vidin. The exhibition presents 34 watercolor paintings through which arch. Mollov expresses his passion for architectural monuments and buildings in the region. Architect Belin Mollov is an expert with fifty-five years of experience in the field of urban planning and urban development.

The Entrepreneur's Path

The national tour “The Entrepreneur's Path” passed through Vidin with an inspiring event on April 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin."

Participants were introduced to the initiatives of Sofia Tech Park and Junior Achievement Bulgaria, as well as the opportunities offered by the Enterprise Europe Network for businesses. The event, organized with the support of Vidin Municipality, brought together students, pupils, and aspiring entrepreneurs who received valuable information about educational courses, incubation programs, and startup support.

"The generation gap and how to overcome it"

The charity clubs in the city of Vidin, in partnership with the Municipality of Vidin and the educational institutions, organized on April 8, 2024. at the Cultural Center "Jules Paskin", a lecture on "The gap between generations and how to overcome it" with lecturer Lyubo Getov.

The event attracted the attention of residents and guests of the city, who supported the cause through charitable donations. 

Higher Education Panorama 2024

Vidin Municipality, together with the Center for Support for Personal Development – ​​Vidin, organized the second edition of “Panorama of Higher Education – Vidin 2024”, which took place on April 9 and 10, 2024, at the Cultural Center "Jules Pascin."

Prospective students had the opportunity to meet with representatives of 21 higher education institutions from across the country and receive up-to-date information about available programs, application requirements, admission processes, and career opportunities.

On March 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin”, the Vladigerov brothers and friends presented their first concert on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the birth of the patriarch of Bulgarian music - Pancho Vladigerov. The album "Magic" combines own compositions based on the texts of Rainer Maria Rilke and the incredible talent of the musicians:
