On May 3, 2025, the "Volunteering Fair" was held at the Cultural Center “Jules Pascin” - an event organized by the Association "Danube Initiatives for United Regions" in partnership with Stetica within the framework of the "Charity" project. The goal of the forum was to encourage youth participation in volunteer activities and socially responsible initiatives.
The event included presentations of good practices by representatives of the non-governmental sector, educational institutions and cultural organizations.
Antonina Lozanova presented the project "Volunteers of the Northwest", which unites volunteers from Vidin and Montana. Students from the “Yordan Radichkov” School also shared their experiences – Maria Slavcheva and Martina Stefanova from the “Best” Foundation, as well as teacher Kristina Bozhidarova. Elena Venelinova, head of the “Swing” dance school, presented activities related to charitable initiatives in the field of art.
The program also included creative workshops for children and artistic performances. “Being a volunteer is not an obligation, but a conscious choice and an inner need,” said Victoria Topalska, moderator of the event. According to her, the forum aims to encourage young people to build a lasting commitment to public causes.
The forum is part of a national program for youth activities under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
